Area 20 August Monthly Update

This summer has flown by and as we are all getting ready for back to school and kick starting our new MOPS year I just want you to take a second to stop, breath and pray. This time of year can be full of mixed emotions, excitement for the upcoming year, sadness of kids beginning school, and overwhelmed with all the first days and new year planning. Through all of these emotions I want everyone to remember that our Lord, Jesus Christ is with you through every endeavor and it is in his will and way that everything will or will not happen as planned. To remember simplicity this year as you plan this upcoming year and allow your moms to have community and not get caught up with all the fancy stuff. To be free to be who they are and not put on a facade. To be gutsy and go where your groups have never gone before and to push your moms get out of their comfort zones to be free; Free Indeed!

MOPS Area 20 Leaders Facebook Page

Did you know we have a MOPS Area 20 Leaders Facebook page?

This page is open to all registered Area 20 MOPS Leaders. MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. Area 20 MOPS Leaders facebook page is a place to ask questions about MOPS International events, get ideas for meetings and remember why We Are MOPS. Your MOPS Volunteer Team Coaches check the page daily. We have just started will posting a Prayer & Praise request each Tuesday. If you ever have a prayer request, you may share it in that post. Our Coaches will pray specifically for your requests.

We also plan to start facilitating group discussions for a week each month. In July, we led Free Indeed theme brainstorming discussions. You can join our page https://www.facebook.com/groups/Area20MOPS/ and search through the posts for the discussion and ideas. For August, we will be asking questions shared by YOU. If you have any questions you would like to ask other MOPS Leaders, you can add it to the Facebook page (look for the marked post) or send it to Christy Molnar at christymolnar@yahoo.com. 

Coaches will begin posts on August 14^th. Each time you share an idea or comment your name will be entered for a random drawing. What are you waiting for? Join our page, find ideas & share ideas.

Have you been called to join our MOPS Volunteer Team?

Your Coaches pray daily for our MOPS groups & you, our Leaders. We also pray that those who are called to join us will answer that call. If the seed has been planted in you and you would like to know more about what being a Coach means, please send your Coach or our Area Coach, Christy Molnar, christymolnar@yahoo.com an email today.

Prayers and Praises

Pray for our Area 20 MOPS Leaders and the moms in their groups.

Prayers for Leadership Teams who are preparing for transitions within their positions, Teams navigating a change in their host church, Teams working to help MOPS International reach 1 million moms, and groups that are preparing for their first meeting this month.

Pray for our Area 20 MOPS Volunteer Team (MVT) as we strive to encourage and equip the leaders in our communities, continue to welcome our new Coaches, and hope that more MOPS Leaders will answer God’s call to be a part of our team.

Prayers for all the children who will be starting school or going back to school this month.
